The first step to using this tool is to get a sample of your hay analyzed at a feed testing laboratory. We recommend using a National Forage Testing Association certified laboratory.

A simple interpretation of your horse’s protein and energy requirements along and recommendations based on other characteristics of the forage including Non-Structural Carbohydrates (NSC) for horses with metabolic issues such as laminitis.
